NASH (Joseph), peintre, lithographe, dessinateur et aquarelliste, né à Great Marlow le 17 décembre 1808, mort à Bayswater le 19 décembre 1878 (Ec. Ang.). Cet artiste exposa à Londres à partir de 1831 et fut membre de la Old Water Colours Society. Ce fut surtout un peintre d’architectures et il illustra dans ce genre plusieurs ouvrages tels que Architecture of the Middle (1838), – Mansions of England in the olden times, Views of Windsor Castle (1848). On trouve de ses aquarelles dans les Musées de Blackburn, Dublin, Edimbourg, Londres (Victoria and Albert, Brit. Museum), Manchester, Nottingham. » (Bénézit, VI, 310).
